Application for Certification Procedure 

1. Request for Quotation from Bluestarcmi 

  • Fill up and submit the Request for Quotation (RFQ), providing details such as:
    • The ISO standard you’re applying for (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
    • The scope of certification (e.g., business processes covered).
    • The number of employees and locations involved.
  • We will provide a cost estimate based on the complexity and scope of certification.
  • The quotation will be sent via client's email provided in the RFQ.

2. Contract Signing & Agreement

  • Review the Bluestarcmi's terms and conditions regarding audit procedures, fees, and certification validity.
  • Sign a certification agreement.
  • Confirming the audit schedule and payment terms.

3. Stage 1 Audit (Documentation Review)

  • We will conduct a Stage 1 Audit, reviewing your QMS documentation to ensure compliance.
  • The auditor assesses whether your system meets ISO requirements.
  • If gaps are found, you’ll need to address non-conformities before proceeding to Stage 2.

5. Corrective Actions & System Improvements

  • Address any issues identified in Stage 1.
  • Implement necessary improvements to ensure full compliance.

6. Stage 2 Audit (On-Site Assessment)

  • We will perform an on-site audit, verifying the actual implementation of your Management System.
  • Auditors interview employees, review records, and observe processes.
  • If major non-conformities are found, corrective actions must be taken before certification.

7. Certification Decision & Issuance of Certificate

  • If the audit is successful, we will review the findings and approves certification.
  • The ISO certificate is issued, confirming compliance with the standard.
  • The certificate is valid for three years, subject to surveillance audits.

8. Surveillance Audits & Continuous Improvement

  • We will conduct annual surveillance audits to ensure continued compliance.
  • Organizations must maintain their Management Systems and implement improvements.

9. Recertification Process

  • After three years, a recertification audit is required to renew the certification.
  • The process involves a full audit similar to the initial certification.
