In an unexpected move, Oxebridge VP Christopher Paris blocked BluestarCMI CEO Zyrus Oyong on LinkedIn after Oyong confronted him about his misleading attacks on ISO, IAF, Accreditation Bodies (ABs), and Certification Bodies (CBs).

Instead of addressing the concerns in a fact-based discussion, Paris cut off communication, avoiding scrutiny over his persistent mischaracterization of ISO accreditation systems and industry practices.

Why Did Paris Block Oyong?

For years, Paris has positioned himself as a critic of ISO certification, accreditation pricing models, and oversight processes. While open discussions can lead to industry improvements, his approach has often relied on misleading narratives that distort the realities of ISO, IAF, CBs, and ABs.

When Oyong challenged his misinformation, Paris chose to block him, shutting down dialogue instead of defending his claims with verifiable facts.

ISO, IAF, CBs, and ABs: What Paris Misrepresents

The organizations Paris regularly targets play critical roles in global accreditation integrity

ISO – Develops international standards that ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance

IAF – Maintains oversight of accreditation policies, ensuring CBs and ABs operate transparently.

Accreditation Bodies (ABs) – Verify the competence of CBs to prevent fraudulent certifications

Certification Bodies (CBs) – Independently audit organizations to ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Blocking the Conversation Doesn’t Change the Truth

Instead of fostering industry accountability, Paris’s decision to block Oyong raises serious concerns about his approach to criticism.

  • If ISO truly needed reforms, constructive dialogue would be the path forward—not avoiding engagement.
  • Industry professionals deserve factual, well-researched discussions—not one-sided attacks.
  • Accreditation integrity should be defended, not misrepresented for personal agendas.

Paris may have blocked Oyong, but the truth remains—the ISO community must stand against misinformation that threatens the credibility of global accreditation frameworks.
